I have recently submitted a short children's story to a publishing company and they have come back saying it has passed the initial stage.
However, they have asked me about the illustrations. They are saying I have 2 choices:
A. Get their illustrators to do it (which is likely to cost me a fortune)
B. Source my own illustrator.
I do not have the money for either of these options so it looks like the project will just be shelved.
